Is this an official Blizzard website?

No. This is an unofficial fan guide. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Blizzard Entertainment. World of Warcraft and WoW are trademarks of Blizzard Entertainment, Inc.

How do you check your facts?

We only use Blizzard official news posts, official Blizzard forum posts by Blizzard staff, and Wowhead news that quotes them. Every change to a page is recorded with the date it was checked, and each page lists its sources at the bottom.

Why does the site say October 21 when the news page says October 19?

Because the newer official statement wins. The Blizzard news post of October 15, 2026 said October 19. On October 16, Blizzard community manager Kaivax wrote that the test happens on October 21, not two days earlier. When sources conflict, we follow the most recent official statement and say so on the page.

I found a mistake. How do I report it?

Email us with what is wrong and a link to an official source that shows the correction. Confirmed errors are fixed and the page update date changes.

Does this site show ads?

Yes, to cover hosting costs: Google AdSense may serve ads, and a native ad unit may appear below the main content of a page, always labeled as advertising. Ads never sit above the status card or the start time table on the home page.

Who runs this World of Warcraft: Forever guide?

Blizzard moved the WoW Forever stress test from October 19 to October 21, 2026 with a short forum post on October 16, while the original news page still showed the old date. That left most search results and third-party pages out of date. This guide exists to give the current date, exact regional start times, and honest answers about duration and the wipe — each with a source.

It was checked most recently on 2026-10-17.

Editorial method

Fact checking: Blizzard Entertainment news and official forum posts are used for official facts; Wowhead is used for reporting context. Sources are linked on each page, and we state conflicts instead of silently resolving them.
Dated checks: the status card and every page show when the information was last checked.
Conflicts stated, not resolved by us: where official sources disagree (for example the news page still saying October 19), we present the newer statement and name the conflict.
No guessing: anything not announced — end times, prices, beta cutoffs — is written as "not announced" rather than estimated.
